Occupational Therapy Groups
Summer Session
Program details
Welcome to our Dungeons & Dragons OT Group! We combine the imaginative world of D&D with the therapeutic benefits of occupational therapy in a supportive, outdoor environment. Our program features a collaborative approach with both a dedicated game master and a pediatric occupational therapist working together to help children develop social skills, problem-solving abilities, emotion regulation, and creativity through collaborative storytelling and adventure.
Age range: Children ages 8-15 - Once your child is registered we will make sure they are grouped with same-age peers or the group that best meets their needs.
Each campaign will include 9 weekly sessions starting the last week of June until the last week of August.

Play Partners
Interested in joining a D&D campaign without the therapeutic focus? This option allows children to dive into the adventure without individualized occupational therapy intervention. This is a great option for children who are accomplishing the targeted developmental skills and are able to model this prosocial behavior in a group setting.
-
1-hour pre-group screening assessment (in-person): Our occupational therapist will meet with the parent or guardian to discuss therapy goals while our game master supports the child in creating a character and introducing them to the basics of the game.
Nine 90-minute outdoor sessions on-site at Cambridge Farm & Forest School led by the game master and a registered occupational therapist
